Hi, I’m Esther Leong, a self-motivated individual who recently graduated from Singapore Management University (SMU) with a Bachelor of Business Management. I have a keen interest in marketing and communication management as I discovered the power of a good marketing and communications team during my internship stint at a newsroom. Hence, I served as the Marketing Director of the SMU Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources (OBHR) Society during my sophomore year. I take pride in my work, value integrity and pay close attention to the details.

Previously, I graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Communications and Media Management. My experiences through client projects and working experiences have helped me become proficient in numerous software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Audition, Final Cut Pro and Protools. I believe that my knowledge in both business management and the media field gives me a competitive edge as I am able to take on a strong cross-disciplinary approach. I am eager to learn and keen to contribute to your team, I look forward to connecting with you!

A new TP star is born

World’s oldest gymnast, 92, performs during International Ageing Week in Singapore

SINGAPORE – This 92-year-old great-grandmother is the oldest active gymnast in the guinness world record, and has at least 11 medals earned during her senior years.

Johanna Quaas, who is German, was in town for the International Ageing Week where she wowed audiences with gymnastic routines that included handstands and a segment on the parallel bars.

Quaas gained internet fame in 2012 when a video of her at a training session was uploaded to YouTube. She was 86 at the time. She was named the “World’s Oldest Gymnast” by the Guinness Book of World Records that same year and has held on to the title since.

Kampung spirit in Tampines hailed

Over 100 volunteers went door to door in the blistering heat on a Saturday morning distributing rice bags.

50 for Fifty drive aims to reach out to lesser-known charities

The changemakers organised events to raise money for 41 charities to celebrate Singapore’s Golden Jubilee this year and they managed to raise $3.6 million in three months.

50 for Fifty is reaching out to lesser-known charities. Beneficiaries from Wicare, a widow support group, will receive an early Christmas present from “changemaker”, Ms Brenda Eng, founder of Balloon Blasters.
